Military Wool Blanket

Not gonna lie, I almost didn't buy this Arcturus Military Wool Blanket. Seemed pricey for what it was, and I thought, how different can one blanket really be from another? Boy, was I wrong.

I bought it because I'm always freezing at night, even in summer. My old synthetic blanket just wasn't cutting it anymore. This one promised warmth without the bulk, which sounded too good to be true. Three weeks in, and I've been proved wrong again - this thing is amazing!

First off, it's thick and warm, like cuddling a cloud on a cold day. It kept me cozy even when temperatures dropped at night. And unlike other wool blankets I've had, this one doesn't make me feel itchy or sweaty. That's got to be down to the high-quality merino wool they use.

Second thing I love? The size. At 54" x 72", it's big enough for my king-size bed but still lightweight enough for camping trips. It's been a lifesaver on chilly mornings around the campfire. Plus, it packs down small when rolled up, so it doesn't take up much space in my backpack.

One minor thing to be aware of - it's not machine washable like they claim. I tried it once, and while it didn't fall apart, the blanket lost some of its softness afterwards. So, hand-washing it is probably best
