For just under twenty-five bucks, I was pleasantly surprised by how much smarts this Kasa Smart Plug packed in. I picked it up because I wanted to add some voice control to my old fan without breaking the bank on a new smart model.

Setting it up was a breeze - plug it in, download the app, and boom, I was controlling my fan with my phone or just by asking Alexa. It's not every day you get that kind of convenience for this price, so it felt like quite the steal.

Over the past month, two things really stood out to me. Firstly, the scheduling feature is a game-changer. I've set my fan to turn on at 7 AM sharp, so I wake up to a cool breeze every morning without having to lift a finger. That's what I call a proper wake-up call!

Secondly, the app's simplicity is refreshing. It's not cluttered with unnecessary features; just clear, easy-to-use controls that make sense even if you're not tech-savvy. Plus, it's nice having all my Kasa devices in one place.

One tiny downside, though - sometimes Alexa takes a moment to respond when I ask her to turn the fan on or off. It's not a deal-breaker by any means, but something to be aware of if you're expecting instant gratification.

All in all, this is a fantastic little gadget that punches well above its weight. If you're
