Bridge (Newest Model) — Wider coverage

I was skeptical at first - paying $50 for something that essentially acts as a middleman between my Ring lights and Wi-Fi seemed like a bit much. But after realizing my outdoor lights were frequently disconnecting, I figured it was worth a shot.

After installing the Ring Bridge, I noticed an immediate improvement in connectivity. My lights stayed on without any random dropouts, which was a relief. It's been almost a month now, and I've yet to experience any significant lag or disconnection issues - even when I'm working out back, far from my router.

I love that the Bridge automatically connects with your Ring devices once plugged in; no fiddling around with settings necessary. And it was great seeing all my lights show up instantly in the Ring app, ready for control at my fingertips (or voice commands via Alexa).

However, there's one minor thing to be aware of: if you have a lot of Ring devices, they can sometimes compete for connection with the Bridge. But this hasn't been an issue for me - I've got five lights and haven't had any trouble yet.

If you're having connectivity issues like I was, or you're looking to expand your smart light setup beyond your router's reach, then the Ring Bridge is definitely worth considering. It may seem pricey upfront, but it could save you a lot of headaches in the long run.
