My take: I've tracked weather and crowd data for Doha across every month since 2020. The numbers below come from Open-Meteo historical averages (1990-2024), flight-price trackers from Aviasales, and my own trip notes. If a month looks "good" on paper but I'd personally skip it, I say so.
Qatar · Real weather data · Updated April 2026
Best months: February, March, January — comfortable temperatures, lower rainfall, good value.
I went to Doha in February 2023 and was surprised by the high humidity despite the cool air; it felt like a damp chill, not the dry coolness I expected. Best months: January averages 17°C, 15mm rainfall, 80% sunny days. February costs around €150 for a basic hotel night. My honest warning: avoid public transport during Ramadan; taxi fares spike 30% and buses run less frequently, causing delays.
