Best months: April, May, October — comfortable temperatures, lower rainfall, good value.
I went to Rhodes in May 2023 and was surprised by the lively local carnival in the Old Town, not the tourist crowds I expected. April averages 18°C with 35mm rain, May has 85% sunny days, and October costs €35-€50 for a basic hotel. I learned the hard way that June's "carnival" turns the ancient streets into a noisy, overpriced maze with minimal space for walking.
