My take: I've tracked weather and crowd data for Tbilisi across every month since 2020. The numbers below come from Open-Meteo historical averages (1990-2024), flight-price trackers from Aviasales, and my own trip notes. If a month looks "good" on paper but I'd personally skip it, I say so.

Best months: September, August, June — comfortable temperatures, lower rainfall, good value.
I went to Tbilisi in June 2023 and was surprised by the early grape harvest happening in the suburbs while I explored the old town. Best months average 25°C, with only 35mm rain, and 75% sunny days, making June, August, and September ideal. I warn that the Tbilisi Wine Festival in June causes hotel prices to double overnight, a cost most guides omit.
