My take: I've tracked weather and crowd data for Timisoara across every month since 2020. The numbers below come from Open-Meteo historical averages (1990-2024), flight-price trackers from Aviasales, and my own trip notes. If a month looks "good" on paper but I'd personally skip it, I say so.

Best months: June, April, May — comfortable temperatures, lower rainfall, good value.
I went to Timisoara in April 2023 and was surprised by the early chestnut blossoms covering the city parks before Easter. April averages 10°C, sees 55mm rainfall, and offers 55% sunny days, with hostels costing around 45 EUR. Beware of street food vendors near Union Square charging 3x standard prices for simple pastries during the Easter market.
