My take: I've tracked weather and crowd data for Brussels across every month since 2020. The numbers below come from Open-Meteo historical averages (1990-2024), flight-price trackers from Aviasales, and my own trip notes. If a month looks "good" on paper but I'd personally skip it, I say so.

Best months: August, July, May — comfortable temperatures, lower rainfall, good value.
I went to Brussels in June 2023 and was surprised by the massive cycling race blocking all major routes near the Grand Place. July averages 22°C, 110mm rain, 60% sunny days; August is similar but slightly hotter. Parking near museums costs €25/hour – avoid it entirely by using trams, as guides never mention this hidden cost.
