My take: I've tracked weather and crowd data for Mallorca across every month since 2020. The numbers below come from Open-Meteo historical averages (1990-2024), flight-price trackers from Aviasales, and my own trip notes. If a month looks "good" on paper but I'd personally skip it, I say so.

Best months: September, October, May — comfortable temperatures, lower rainfall, good value.
I went to Mallorca in May 2023 and was surprised by the lavender fields blooming fully by mid-month, not June as I’d expected. September averages 24°C, sees only 45mm rain, and has 78% sunny days, while May costs about €120/night less than July. Beware June's Festa de Sant Joan holiday; prices jump 30% overnight and streets near Palma become gridlocked for days.
