My take: I've tracked weather and crowd data for Valencia across every month since 2020. The numbers below come from Open-Meteo historical averages (1990-2024), flight-price trackers from Aviasales, and my own trip notes. If a month looks "good" on paper but I'd personally skip it, I say so.

Best months: July, December, June — comfortable temperatures, lower rainfall, good value.
I went to Valencia in June 2023 and was shocked by how hot it felt by mid-month, the heat hitting 32°C before the 1st. June averages 27°C, sees only 35mm rainfall, and boasts 80% sunny days, with tapas costing around €12. Avoid the metro during Fallas in March; the city shuts down completely for days, making getting anywhere near impossible without a taxi.
