My take: I've tracked weather and crowd data for Belgrade across every month since 2020. The numbers below come from Open-Meteo historical averages (1990-2024), flight-price trackers from Aviasales, and my own trip notes. If a month looks "good" on paper but I'd personally skip it, I say so.

Best months: June, April, October — comfortable temperatures, lower rainfall, good value.
I went to Belgrade in April 2023 and was surprised by the sudden spring blossoms covering the Sava River promenade, not the typical grey city I expected. April averages 12°C, 50mm rainfall, and 60% sunny days, making it ideal for walking. Trams shut down unexpectedly often during peak hours, so I always check routes via app instead of relying on schedules.
