My take: I've tracked weather and crowd data for Bratislava across every month since 2020. The numbers below come from Open-Meteo historical averages (1990-2024), flight-price trackers from Aviasales, and my own trip notes. If a month looks "good" on paper but I'd personally skip it, I say so.

Best months: June, July, August — comfortable temperatures, lower rainfall, good value.
I went to Bratislava in June 2023 and was surprised by how warm the Danube River felt for that early summer month. June averages 24°C, 75mm rainfall, and 65% sunny days, with tram rides costing €2.50. Avoid July 5th Independence Day; the castle traffic jams last hours, and parking fees hit €20, a detail most guides omit.
