My take: I've tracked weather and crowd data for Prague across every month since 2020. The numbers below come from Open-Meteo historical averages (1990-2024), flight-price trackers from Aviasales, and my own trip notes. If a month looks "good" on paper but I'd personally skip it, I say so.

Best months: July, June, August — comfortable temperatures, lower rainfall, good value.
I went to Prague in June 2023 and was surprised by the constant outdoor festivals happening even on weekdays, not just the usual tourist spots. Average June temperatures hit 20°C, rainfall is 60mm, and 65% of days are sunny, making it ideal for walking. Beware: trams charge a €2.50 luggage fee during rush hour, a cost most guides omit.
