My take: I've tracked weather and crowd data for Poznan across every month since 2020. The numbers below come from Open-Meteo historical averages (1990-2024), flight-price trackers from Aviasales, and my own trip notes. If a month looks "good" on paper but I'd personally skip it, I say so.

Best months: July, June, August — comfortable temperatures, lower rainfall, good value.
I went to Poznan in June 2023 and was surprised by the 15°C evening temperatures after a hot afternoon, not the expected chill. June averages 19°C, 55mm rain, and 65% sunny days, with hostel stays costing 35 EUR. Avoid September due to the Poznan International Fair; hotels book 6 months ahead and prices double, catching many unprepared.
